About us: Meadowhawk Press is a small speculative fiction publisher. Meadowhawk was founded out of the desire to, while giving new authors a market in which to be discovered, push the envelope for excellence in character driven fiction. Our first anthology, Touched By Wonder; which is garnering praise from critics and readers alike, is also a fund raiser for Breast Cancer Research and Awareness.

As publisher, Dan Gamber brings 20 years of business and design background, a sharp creative eye, and artistic abilities that result in beautifully produced books. Along with his wife and Executive Editor, Jackie, they strive for new levels of distinction in Speculative Fiction.

Our list of novels for 2008 is diverse and exciting. We will launch two novels in the spring, including a YA Fantasy, Illusia, by John Zakour and Liz Keller. John is the author of the humorous pulp/science fiction series including Radioactive Redhead, and Blue-haired Bombshell. Also due in the spring is Terminal Mind by David Walton. David is an award winning author with short fiction appearing in Asimov’s and Analog, among others. His debut novel is fast paced science fiction, set in futuristic Philadelphia. In the fall, look for the first installment of an original fantasy trilogy, and a reprint of a classic high fantasy trilogy by a celebrated author.
