I don't know much about the community. Started to look at the different forums but it was very late and I felt so tired I decided to keep looking at the forums a little later. I will be in a conference all week-end long. I doubt I will have much time until Monday to keep reading what is in each forum.

You live in Korea? That was a surprise. I was love to be in India right now or in China. India has an explosion of young writers right now.

Are you expecting to move to India? I was there a couple of years ago and you are indeed correct -- there is a very vibrant community of writers and publishers there. I had the opportunity to travel through China as well in 2002.

I had the pleasure of meeting P. Lal's Writer's Workshop, which has published 100's of terrific writers. Do you know it?

Here's a little info on P. Lal (via Wikipedia) -- just a really cool guy:

Purusottama Lal, born 1929 in the state of Punjab in India, is a poet, essayist, translator, professor and publisher. He is the founder and publisher of Writer's Workshop in Calcutta, where he lives presently.

I am still looking around the forums and hope to have something to contribute soon. If there is something I don't understand I will certainly ask.
