I've got a reallly low budget for a printed project I've been asked to do. Any recommendations on how to keep costs to a minimum?

These are just a few ways that I've saved cash in the past when looking to cut corners. It's not comprehensive, but...

First off, ask your printer for paper size recommendations to minimize paper waste. Good printers will always give you feedback to help you save some $$$. Or ask them if they have any extra paper left over from another clients' job which might cost you less.

Also, stop the "bleeding"! Jobs with images or colors that run off the edge of the page (called "bleeds") will typically cost a bit more than those that don't.

And the number one way to save money on a print job: Don't make changes to your document once you've supplied it to the printer.
