Sin City 1 Year, 6 Months ago Karma: 4
I don't read many comics but when the Sin City movie came out I did read Frank Millers novels, what I found curious (yellow?!) is that the stories or should I say the theme of all of them is the same, the redemptive power of love?

The 300 is going to be a movie near you soon.

The 300 -- stills from the movie... 1 Year, 6 Months ago Karma: 0
Ya, jym -- I'm pretty pumped about The 300. Just checked this out today at wired -- Zack Snyder talks about what he calls his 'ultraviolent' film _base_d on Miller's graphic novel, encompaases everything from its amazing digital effects to its politics.

Here's the _link_.

Check out some of the stills from the flick:

This movie appears as though it is going to combine a certain amount of realism with some fantasy—it looks amazing and has an incredible storyline. I believe that "Spartan's, Tonight we dine in hell" will become one of the most remembered lines in the movie -- thinking back to the book.

Those are some very cool looking stills, some look like they could almost be Frazetta paintings.
