The _title_ pretty much explains it all... I'm looking to submit my site to a category that is not yet created in the directory - how can I suggest a new category? Would it be best to drop an email directly?

Right now -- there's no way beyond emailing someone here at the site and asking us to add it. In the future, we'll add a "Suggest a Category" _link_ on each page so that our users can make category suggestions!

For now, before you email your sugested category please take time to see if the category already exists in the directory by searching for it (think you've already done that!) Please provide us with the category _title_, and a brief de_script_ion of the category in your email or personal message. Thanks!

Thanks for your suggestion, we've taken it under consideration and implemented the change. Now you can simply navigate to the category that you would like your suggested category to appear under (called the "Parent" category).

On the sidebar, you'll see a "Suggest a categpry _link_". Click this _link_ and submit your category suggestion.

If your suggestion passes the review process, it will inserted into the category system.

Thanks again for the suggestion. When developing a site like this, its often difficult to maintain critical distance to see things that might be confusing or inefficient.
