Real P_layer_ is probably the most annoying software product. It is constantly attempting to access the internet to send your info out and trying to take over everything.
I use Real Alternative and try to use free p_layer_s (as in open sournce) I like them because they keep the 'annoyingness factor' down.

Real Alternative will allow you to play RealMedia files without having to install RealP_layer_/RealOne P_layer_.
You do need a p_layer_ that is capable of playing RealMedia. The included Media P_layer_ Classic supports it and works very well. Supported: RealAudio (.ra .rpm), RealMedia (.rm .ram .rmvb .rpx .smi .smil), RealText (.rt), ReadPix (.rp), RealMedia _embed_ded in webpages. .smi and .smil files sometimes only play the first part of a clip. This is a limitation of the current Media P_layer_ Classic. The RealMedia Browser plugin supports Internet Explorer, Opera, Netscape and Mozilla.
