I particulary liked this response by Gerber:
Making music without performers, without acoustic instruments, without an orchestra, band or ensemble yet having thousands of sounds to draw upon, changes the approach to composition, technical practices and aesthetics.
His comments about technology changing the way which he composes and the way, throughout the interview, that you likened composition to writing caused me to reconsider how technology has prompted me to change the way I "compose".
