Quark question 1 Year, 8 Months ago Karma: 1
Okay gurus,

Help me out! I've been working on a book cover in Quark and imported a normal EPS logo. It looks fine in illustrator (its composed of a circle with a gradient). However, in quark and also the PDF output it seem to cut the bottom off the logo (the circle).

I've checked the picture boxes in quark—fine. I have even opened the EPS in Photoshop and it looks ok. Anybody have any ideas?

Sorry -- this question's been sitting for a while, just haven't been around lately.

This is a common importing problem. the trick is to put a box that has no fill or stroke over it that is larger than the _object_.

When you import it it 'tricks' the application it and it won't trim your _object_.

I've seen that happening with EPS files made in ADOBE applications, ete. — hope this helps!
