I'm trying to upload a handbook onto the internet and was told that uploading a .PDF file would make it easiest to access for everyone, but I need to know how to go about doing so.

Could anybody lend a hand?

There are some really decent PDF converters out there.

Basically, you create a document using whatever software you desire, and then using the print dialog, you create a PDF from it.

It doesn't create super small files (for that you need to go to the source and buy Adobe Acrobat).
