Endre Farkas published nine books of poetry, including, In The Worshipful Company of Skinners, and co-produces Poetry-on-the-Buses and Circus of Words. Farkas has also created theatrical poetry performance pieces.

Carolyn Marie Souaid’s fourth book, Satie’s Sad Piano was nominated for the 2006 Pat Lowther Award. She produces Circus of Words / Cirques des Mots with Endre Farkas.

Anne Cimon studied creative writing at Concordia University. She has four books of poetry. Her latest is a bilingual edition An Angel around the Corner/ Un ange autour du coin (Borealis, 2004).

Susan Elmslie ‘s first full-length poetry collection, I, Nadja, and Other Poems, was published by Brick Books this fall. Living in Montreal since 1993, she currently teaches English at Dawson College.

The Yellow Door Coffeehouse has a long history as a Montreal folk music venue but it also plays a vital part in the city's spoken word scene. Regular poetry and prose readings feature illustrious veterans and talented students.
