Sheri-D Wilson is one of Canada's most prominent performance poets. She has performed her poetry and one-woman shows across Canada and the U.S. Her latest book is Re:Zoom (Frontenac House, 2005) Her other titles are: Between Lovers (Arsenal Pulp Press, 2002), The Sweet Taste of Lightening (Arsenal Pulp Press, 2005), Girls Guide to Giving Head (Arsenal Pulp Press, 1996), and Swerve (Arsenal Pulp Press, 1993). On Saturday, May 13, 2006, at the Alberta Book Awards, Sheri-D Wilson was awarded the Stephan G Stephansson Award for her book of poetry, Re:Zoom, Frontenac House Ltd, 2005.
Patrick Friesen's most recent book is Earth's Crude Gravities (Harbour, 2007). He has self-produced two audio CDs: small rooms 2002 and Calling the Dog Home. He received the McNally Robinson Book of the Year Award in 1994; and was nominated for the Governor GeneralŐs Award in 1996. He has been nominated twice for the Dorothy Livesay Award.
Luciano Iacobelli lives in Toronto. He is the founder, chief editor and designer of Lyricalmyrical Press, a publishing company which specializes in handcrafted chapbooks. He is one of the organizers of the Toronto Wordstage reading series, and a partner in Quatro Press. He teaches at SEED, Toronto's oldest public alternative school. He will be celebrating his first full length book, The Angel Notebook (Seraphim Editions). |
