Merle Nudelman is a Toronto lawyer and poet. Her first poetry collection, Borrowed Light (Guernica Editions), was the 2004 winner of the Canadian Jewish Award for Poetry and also won a prize in the Arizona Authors Association 2004 Literary Contest. J. Mark Smith lives in Edmonton and teaches English at Grant MacEwan College. His poems have appeared in such journals as Descant, Grain and The Malahat Review. He will be promoting his first collection of poems titled, Notes for a Rescue Narrative (Oolichan Books).
Glen Downie has published five books of poetry and has co-edited the work-writing anthology More Than Our Jobs. Formerly a social worker in cancer care, he served a term as Writer-in-Residence at Dalhousie University's Medical Humanities Program before returning to a life of anonymity in Toronto as an at-home father. He will be touring with his new book Loyalty Management (Wolsak and Wynn). |
