Sandra Alland is a writer, multimedia artist and activist who is the author of several chapbooks and two collections of poetry. Her most recent book is Blissful Times (Book Thug, 2007). She has participated in sound poetry collaborations such as Other Me (Scream Festival) and she co-created Canada's first ever Silent Slam (a live, projected writing competition). She lives in Toronto where she works as a bookseller.
EvE A. Labiis a 1st generation 27-year-old Ghanaian Canadian, dedicating her life work to empowering women of colour around the universe by addressing social issues through the power of the written and spoken word, as an established performance artist. EvE A. Labi is the president of I.S.I.S.CIRCLE, an all female special events-planning and performance arts company. She is also a member of AfroToronto.Com, an online publication that promotes the arts in Toronto's African-Canadian, Francophone and Caribbean communities.

. She is the author of one chapbook, The Human Cannonball (believe your own press). She is the publisher of Tightrope Books, and co-ordinator of the Toronto Small Press Book Fair.
