A series of BP Nichol poems

Lit-Cast is a cool place, discovered serendiptiously via LitKicks. Caryn Thurman writes: "Lit-Cast [is] an audio literary journal that offers up remastered clips of interviews, poetry and other literary finds. To say the site is no-frills would be an understatement…it’s worth visiting each month to see what interesting voices pop up. "

Currently, Editor Jason Rizos is offering a series of remastered BP Nichol poems:

A series of BP Nichol poems from 1972-1979 remastered from audio cassette for the first time. The first piece, Generations Generated is a classic example of his “sound poetry” sans words, the next, Pome Poem, is a chant that begs the question of how much content in poetry is conveyed in words and how much in delivery. Finally, Art in Upheaval, combines the elements of sound poetry and essay. Billed by BP as an essay, Lit-Cast makes it blue.

Lit-Cast is a monthly publication of short fiction, creative non-fiction, and poetry. All audio is in MP3 format and compatabile with ALL MP3 players. Individual selections are also available for purchase and download. Lit-Cast offers two new lit-casts every month.
